About Bec
As a qualified parental coach and mother of three, I know that some of the biggest challenges of childhood can come from feelings that are simply too big, too unfamiliar or too difficult for little minds to understand.
I created my resources from a belief that emotional wellbeing begins with understanding.
Children aren't born knowing how to recognise, name and navigate their emotions. These are skills they develop through connection, guidance, repetition and, most importantly, feeling safe enough to experience their emotions without shame or judgement.
My aim is to make that learning feel natural, engaging and accessible, not like another lesson children have to sit through.
From My Big Colourful Feelings colouring and activity book, to emotion strategy cards, calming corner resources and digital tools, each resource has been thoughtfully created to give children simple, practical ways to explore what they are feeling and discover what might help.
Some resources encourage children to recognise and name their emotions. Others introduce calming strategies, mindfulness, positive affirmations and ways to pause when feelings become overwhelming. They are designed to be used not only by children independently, but alongside the parents, carers and educators who help them feel understood and supported.
Because emotional regulation isn't about expecting children to always be calm.
It's about helping them understand what is happening within them, giving them appropriate tools to respond, and teaching them that even their biggest feelings can be met with compassion.
I hope these resources become part of everyday moments! a conversation after a difficult day, a quiet activity before bed, a strategy reached for during a big feeling, or a calming space where a child knows they can pause and reset.
Above all, I want children to grow up knowing that their feelings are not something to fear or be ashamed of.
They are something we can learn to understand.
